The sixth etching of `Strong`s the word`. This etching was created from drawings I did of dead willow trees in Grantchester Meadows. I find that broken trees have a surprising beauty to them; the gnarled and scarred bark tells the story of the adventure of their lives. The way old and wise trees look in reality is very different to the way we imagine them to be. Perhaps it is the same with people.
