This is an etching developed from a drawing I did of a small partially hidden orchard in Elfleda Road allotments. This orchard is right next to my own allotment, yet I have somehow missed it for nearly a year. I enjoyed discovering what felt exactly like the rose gardens from Burnett’s ‘The Secret Garden’.
